Holistic Psychotherapy integrating evidence-based & alternative therapy

We all possess an intrinsic capacity to heal. My work embraces the whole person – body, mind & spirit. For over 30 years I have had the opportunity to help hundreds of individuals and couples reach core level change and healing in their lives and relationships.

There is no therapeutic approach that works for everyone. Since “talk therapy” isn’t always enough my approach is a holistic one that integrates evidence-based and alternative therapies.

Depending on your unique needs, I may use or draw from research-validated therapies such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy,
Mindfulness practice and Body-centered therapies – Emotional Freedom Technique and Hakomi. My work is strongly influenced by contemplative psychotherapy, humanistic and transpersonal psychology, and the teaching practices of several spiritual traditions.

Sessions tend to be highly interactive. Rather than simply listening passively and maintaining an artificial clinical distance, I actively engage with individuals and couples and am willing to share specific suggestions, feedback and opinions whenever appropriate. I believe it is crucial for a therapist to be not only compassionate and caring but also honest and direct.

My intention is to help you rapidly reduce self-limiting patterns, traumas and your current suffering, and begin effective action toward healing and wholeness.
