resolve them. And despite their best intentions,
they continue to repeat the same patterns that
result in frustration and pain.
Consider this possibility: The issue may not be
the issue! I make this assertion not to minimize
interpersonal struggles and serious concerns, but
to suggest that: It is the way a couple tries to
deal with the issue that becomes the issue. I
continually observe this dynamic in therapy
sessions involving sex, money and
parenting.
